RAPID DEPLOYABLE VIDEO SYSTEM - RDVS
The Rapid Deployable Video System (RDVS) is a self contained, mobile camera system that can be quickly deployed for video monitoring or inspection.
The standard system includes:
- 2 unitized color pan/tilt/zoom/focus cameras on magnetic mounts
- 2 camera cables
- 1 joystick based camera controller
- 1 wireless audio communication system
- 1 computer with DVD writing capability for video processing and storage
- 1 17” LCD monitor for viewing
Optional radiation dose monitoring can be added utilizing Merlin Gerin dosimeters and software. The entire system in housed in a heavy duty shipping console on wheels.
The system can be moved to the desired location and quickly set up by one or two technicians. The console carries all required cables and accessories for operation. Technicians communicate with each other utilizing the belt pack/headset wireless audio with a base station, and can deploy the cameras up to 125 feet from the console.
The optional dose monitor can also be deployed up to 125 feet from the console using supplied fiber optic cables. The viewing monitor mounts securely to the top of the console, and the camera controller and computer mouse rest on top as well for ease of use. The computer keyboard is contained in a convenient pull-out drawer. One additional external video signal can be fed into the system, and system video can be fed out to a remote location, if desired.
